Milford Regional Medical Center Cook in Milford, Massachusetts
Statement of Purpose:
Under the direct supervision of the Chef, prepares, cooks, and serves a wide variety of food items for patients, of all ages, employees and visitors. May work on grill, fryer, salad bar, or other areas of kitchen as needed
Qualifications:
Education: High school degree or equivalent, culinary degree preferred.
Certification / License: Food safety certification required within 6 months from date of hire.
Experience:
Education: High school degree or equivalent, culinary degree preferred.
Certification / License: Food safety certification required within 6 months from date of hire.
Experience: Demonstrates thorough Knowledge + skill in ability to prepare cook, and serve all food products to : All age levels.
Supervisory experience preferred.
1-3 years institutional cooking preferred.
Basic knowledge of quantity food production required.
Solid knowledge of therapeutic diets required.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
