Description

We are searching for a diligent Bookkeeper with a keen eye for detail to join our team in Milford Massachusetts. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Your role will include creating and analyzing financial reports and ensuring legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors

• Process bank deposits

• Reconcile financial statements

• Prepare, send and store invoices

• Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments

• Submit tax forms

• Identify and address discrepancies

• Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable

• Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets

Requirements • Proficiency in Budget Management is required

• Demonstrated ability to handle Invoices effectively

• Experience in Reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts is essential

• Proficient in using accounting software and related technologies

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and best practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively

• Proven problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

• Relevant certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) is a plus
