Seeking an Assistant Program Director of our Milford Emergency Services Team!

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus: $500 at hire and $500 after you complete 6 months of service.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as the Assistant Program Director of Emergency Services in Milford!

In collaboration with the Site Director, the Assistant Program Director plans, oversees and participates in the daily operation of the Emergency Services Team, the Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) and Respite programs by ensuring quality of care, appropriate staffing and staff support and effective participation in the wider service system to ensure continuity of consumer care.

The Assistant Program Director also provides:

  • Clinical Supervision to designated Emergency Services and CCS/Respite staff

  • 24 hour clinical and administrative back up to Emergency Services and CCS/Respite staff in a regular rotation with other on-call staff

  • Monitor and ensure the quality of care in service provision, risk assessment, collaboration, and documentation

  • Provide telephone screening and triage to consumers calling the 24 hour Emergency Services hotline, as needed

  • Provide face to face evaluations of consumers in crisis as needed

  • Monitor documentation of all clinical encounters to ensure accuracy is captured and correct on all forms

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required

  • Intermediate to advanced computer fluency, including Microsoft Office required

  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required

Required Experience

  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related clinical human service discipline required

  • Independent Licensure required within one year of hire. LICSW preferred.

  • Two years supervisory or administrative experience in a similar mental health setting preferred

  • Three years’ clinical experience in a multi-disciplinary mental health setting and three years experience working with a psychiatric disabled population required
