Shipping & Packaging Associate Full Time Job Responsibilities * Packing fresh bakery items into shipper boxes for bulk and Individual shipments. * Using internal order management system in conjunction with UPS Worldship and FedEx Shipping to create shipping labels. * Sort & decipher shipping invoices & orders to determine priorities and shipping methods that are needed to meet schedules and weather. * Support packaging associates when needed (bagging, tying, gift boxing of food items, etc.) as determined by Supervisor. Requirements - Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Schedule is Monday-Friday 10am-6pm. Weekday overtime may be needed during peak holiday season. Peak is typically Halloween, Thanksgiving, December and Valentine?s Day. Additional overtime is sometimes available Saturday or Sunday during November, December, January & February. * Ability to stand 8 hours per day. * Able to lift packages and trays that weigh an average of 10lbs many times a day. Also lift up to 60lbs occasionally. * General basic computer skills * Must possess good interpersonal skills to communicate with other associates and management. * Must be willing and able to work enthusiastically as part of a team. * Needs to possess good organizational skills. * Must be an individual that pays keen attention to even the smallest of details * Must possess excellent time management skills and work at a speed to complete all tasks for the day. * Maintain a clean workspace and person * Experience in shipping is preferred but not necessary. We will train if you are excited to learn!
