State of Massachusetts Program Coordinator I in Middleboro, Massachusetts

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The State 911 Department is seeking a Program Coordinator I to assist with the planning and coordination of various programs and projects. This person will also provide administrative support to all Divisions of the State 911 Department. DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: * Assist with planning and coordination of all Department Programs. * Assist with monitoring implementation of program policies and practices. * Work to keep programs on schedule, within stated budgets and functioning smoothly. * Support and assist with program growth and development as necessary. * Assist with coordinating program communications. * Assist with coordinating staff work assignments, workloads, and work schedules. * Assist with all Department Programs as well as community outreach. * Assist with tracking inventory for training materials and all outreach materials. * Assist with scheduling and organizing program-related meetings and events. * Assist with the use of technology for program operations, such as video conferencing technology, presentation software and other communications technologies. * Assist with organizing program records, reports, presentations, and proposals. * Support all Department Divisions with administrative duties, activities, and events. * Assist with marketing and communications (media relations, social media). * Greet and direct visitors to the State 911 Department. * Answer calls and direct callers to the appropriate State 911 Department staff. * Other duties may be assigned. MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have at least (A) two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration the major duties of which involved program management, program administration, program coordination, program planning and/or program analysis, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below. Substitutions: I. A Bachelor's or higher degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.* II.
