Bakery Assistant/Jr Decorator - Full Time - No nights, Weekends or Holidays We are a fast-growing, internet-based bakery that is looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to help produce our exciting and fast-growing line of Cake Pops, Chocolate Covered Oreos, and Hand Decorated Cookies. At Veronica\'s Treats we have a wide spectrum of clients and a team-oriented approach to achieving our daily goals. Our commercial bakery hours are Monday-Friday, no nights, weekends, or holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in food service OR have a certificate or training (including technical high school) that pertains to food service. Must be 18 years old. Wages commensurate with work experience. This position is perfect for someone interested in learning to be a chocolate decorator and/or baker. We love to promote from within! Job Responsibilities Typical daily tasks include organizing and putting away deliveries, baking, use of mixing and other bakery equipment, operating a commercial dishwasher, general cleaning and organizing, learning basic decorating techniques, packaging and other tasks as needed. Applicants must be able to: - Work independently and efficiently to complete daily tasks - Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace - Demonstrate good personal hygiene. Including arriving to work clean, well-groomed, and dressed in accordance with company guidelines. - Stand for a minimum of 8 hours - Lift up to 50 lbs. many times a day. - Be available for overtime hours during peak production times which typically run from October thru February.
