Dunkin' Staff Accountant in Methuen, Massachusetts

Description

This is an in-office position in Methuen, MA

Summary:

Responsible for maintaining proper accounting records. Accurately and effectively classify, prepare, record and verify financial data for multiple entities. Responsible for overseeing high number of independent entities.

  • Tenant billing and collections

  • CAM reconciliations

  • Review Leases to ensure accurate billing

  • Reconcile bank statements

  • Review all general ledger account activity to ensure account balance accuracy

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and necessary accruals

  • Prepare and record journal entries for month end close

  • Monthly analysis of actual to budget

  • Put together year-end financial packets for yearend Financial Review

  • Various AD HOC reports as required

Skills/qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • 1 to 3 years of relative work experience in Accounting field required

  • Experience with accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are strongly preferred

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task and attention to details
