ROBERT HALF TECHNOLOGY Spanish Bi-Lingual Customer Specialist in Methuen, Massachusetts
Methuen Company looking for a Temporary to Permanent Referral Speciaist. Are you bi-lingual in English and Spanish? Are you reliable and punctual? Do you like helping people? Have you worked in a Medical Office? Have you worked in a Customer Service Role? This may be the position for you! Employees are hired on a 4-5 month Temporary basis and can become permanent. Temporary Training period is 100% in the office but if you are brought on full time this role changes to a HYBRID office and work at home role. DUTIES: Monitors electronic referral boxes in EMR and Faxcom throughout the day to capture referral requests Prepares and processes all referral and preauthorization paperwork Gathers pertinent information as needed via EMR or from clinical team Contacts various clinics, facilities, companies to obtain information to accurately complete referral/pre authorization requests Utilizes third party payer/insurance portals; has a detailed knowledge of insurance providers, their portals and their expectations for authorization approval Calls patient within 48 hours of initial referral to provide update Flags Provider and or MA within 48 hours of initial referral to provide update May schedule specialty appointments directly on behalf of patient Calls patient within 48 hours of receiving specialty appointment and mails appointment letter Utilizes EMR functions to document all pertinent information Organizes and prioritizes workload Maintains confidentiality by following all applicable HIPAA regulations May be directed to provide support to other team members during vacation or other absences Maintains specific workflows for specialized tests and/or procedures Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal skills, time management skills, and an ability to meet or exceed established productivity standards Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive data at all times Adheres to organizational and department specific safety standards and guidelines Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interacts effectively with clinicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff and the broader health care community REQUIREMENTS: Bi-Lingual Spanish English Customer Service Experience Medical Office is preferred but not required Reliable attendance and punctuality This is a partial job description.
