Job Overview
The Paramedic is an allied health professional whose primary focus is to provide advanced emergency medical care for critical and emergent patients. Conducts detailed assessments and utilizes available diagnostics to collaborate with the medical control physician to determine appropriate treatments and intermediate care management strategy.
Location: Melrose/Wakefield Hospital - Melrose, MA
Hours: 36 hours - 11am-11pm - EOW is mandatory
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an approved Paramedic Training program
Certification as an EMT-P required
Certification in ACLS. BTLS preferred
Minimum of 2 years field experience as a paramedic
Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for patient care of assigned patients under the general direction of the Emergency Department Medical Director with direct supervision by the Attending Physician and Registered Nurse. Administers patient care within academic and clinical preparation; adheres to policies, procedures and standards for practice as established by MelroseWakefield Healthcare System.
