Maloney Properties, Inc. Maintenance Technician in Medway & Mansfield, Massachusetts
Maloney Properties is seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician to support our residential properties in Medway and Mansfield, MA. Some of the duties you will be responsible for will include:
Performing in-unit repairs and preventative maintenance.
Completing work orders, light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, and general building maintenance.
Inspection and minor repair of equipment.
Providing access to contractors, as needed.
Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.
The work hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 with on-call duties shared on rotation. Your work week will be split between two sites in Medway and Mansfield, MA with the on-call rotation including both properties.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.
Some experience in residential property maintenance and skills in areas like plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC are required.
The ability to work as part of a supportive and cohesive team, as well independently, is required.
The ability to communicate professionally by phone and email while using a smartphone app is required.
Previous experience with Yardi or other management software is preferred.
This position includes participation in the emergency on-call rotation and snow removal.
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
Candidates should reside within 40 minutes’ drive of both Mansfield and Medway for on-call purposes.
