Citizens Commercial Operations Loan Servicer IV in Medford, Massachusetts

Description

This position is responsible for maintaining and servicing a portion of the bank's loan portfolio where we serve as the Administrative Agent for syndicated deals. The role calls for direct client interaction (borrowers and lenders) and internal stakeholders. Therefore, the candidate must possess excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency in completing initiatives and requests that are critical to the health of the business.

The incumbent ensures the timely and accurate execution of loan servicing and maintenance activity with an emphasis on analyzing calculations such as loan and fee accruals. This includes scheduled activity such as processing interest, principal, fee payments, and unscheduled activities like Advances.and loan payoff requests. Candidate should have deep experience processing transactions within LoanIQ, with ability to process most daily transactions end to end as well as troubleshooting issues as they arise. The candidate should also have knowledge of accounting related to loan and GL transactions, along with experience in performing daily reconciliations.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Maintain a designated portfolio of customer accounts. Process payments, advances, payoffs, rate changes and other maintenance related to these transactions as well as non-accrual and charge-off items.

  • Balance accrual, billing and general ledger accounts and systems, monitor report and escalate outstanding items.

  • Process Swingline and Sweep related transactions and produce manual statements as needed.

  • Work with customers, other Banks, internal departments, and other lending partners to resolve syndication and participation differences; process manually recalculating of loan histories if needed.

  • Research/resolve complex issues and effectively convey pertinent information to management, business stakeholders and member banks.

  • Assist in departments projects including system upgrade testing, conversions, and interfaces.

  • Manage and mitigating operational risks.

  • Identify and implement process improvements.

  • Proficient use of MS Word and MS Excel

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • 3 years experience in reviewing Commercial Loan documentation required.

  • 3+ years experience in Agency Services role required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent LIQ experience required.

  • 3 years General Ledger experience preferred.

  • Bachelors/Master's Degree preferred.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST
