Responsibilities

  • Meets with assigned clients to assess business needs, evaluate existing systems, document system requirements, and determine appropriate integrated solutions.

  • Prepares specifications for use in the development process, coordinates and reviews the work of developers or programmers, and tests and approves deliverables prior to deployment to customer sites.

  • Prepares and communicates project plans and tracks project progress.

  • Develops and maintains detailed project documentation.

  • Provide ongoing training and support to client organizations.

  • Perform deployment and integration of complex software solutions in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

  • Perform troubleshooting of complex software solutions in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

  • Collaborate with product and program management to ensure solutions meet customer needs.

  • Partner with product development groups to align software and systems strategy.

  • Create reusable templates and modules for automating code delivery.Create automation tests to appropriately test delivery mechanisms.

  • Implement design and security principles through code development and code review.

  • Ensure services maintain compliance with defined security standards (FedRAMP, PCI, NIST, CJIS).

  • Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to ensure highest levels of system availability.

  • Work with peers to assign, prioritize and complete product backlog.

B.S in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent. With 5+ years of experience working in software deployment and support services across Cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.

Required Skills

  • Hands on experience in troubleshooting, deploying and adminsitrating both Windows and Linux system environments to include operating system, networks, custom software and black-box software.

  • Ability and desire to solve new problems with minimal guidance.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent customer-facing communication and service skills.

  • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.Experience with CICD framework process and associated tools (i.e. GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins).

  • Experience configuration management tools (i.e. Ansible, PowerShell, Chef, Packer).

  • Experience with both Windows (PowerShell) and Linux (Bash) scripting

  • Deep technical knowledge supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.US citizenship only.

  • Ability to pass multiple state and/or federal background checks.
