Position:

Product Owner - AI Assistant and Automation of Care - Hybrid

Position Summary:

Works as part of our product, AI and technology teams and will work with internal and external partners and users to define healthcare software solutions. This includes eliciting requirements and performing data analysis to ensure engineers have comprehensive requirements and acceptance criteria that define the functionality for our AI and software solutions. The role will participate in all phases of the development life-cycle from initial requirements gathering and design through to testing of our solutions.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works directly with end-users and business partners to understand business goals and translate them into functional software requirements.

  • Works cross-functionally to understand and document user stories and acceptance criteria and incorporate feedback through collaborative iterations with multiple teams.

  • Works with product managers to translate the product manager's high-level feature road-map into actionable user stories and clear acceptance criteria.

  • Understands the needs of all partners, both internal and external, to define a prioritized backlog and make appropriate trade-offs to ensure team is always working on the most critical work.

  • Presents at all levels of the organization both internal and external.

  • Ensures that solutions accomplish the requested business goal and work as designed.

  • Identify risks to delivery and work cross-functionally to ensure appropriate and timely resolution.

  • Runs Participates in agile sprint ceremonies (stand-up, retrospectives, sprint planning, etc.)

  • Ensures engineering team is accountable to deliver committed features on time or provide adequate justification for inability to deliver.

  • Work with teams to adjust plans based on changes during the agile process.

  • Validates that completed user stories meet the acceptance criteria through data analysis and testing of the system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 3+ years of related experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role

  • Ability to write user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria for back-end applications

  • Ability to perform data analysis of moderate complexity

  • Solid interpersonal, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret, conceptualize, and disseminate data/information in a readily understandable manner

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including presenting information to all levels and tailoring content based on the audience

  • Ability to interview business partners and identify business needs

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Effective time-management and project management skills, including the ability to plan proactively, interpret moderately complex processes/programs, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion and ensure adherence to timelines

  • Firm understanding of how information displays to an end user and the ability to back into business rules for data and transformations required to ensure the end user sees what they expect

Preferred

  • Experience with Agile processes and specifically the product owner role

  • Experience working with AI, specifically LLMs.

  • Experience with Prompt Engineering

  • Experience working with teams developing software solutions for healthcare.

  • Experience working with medical informatics or medical coding teams.

  • Proficient working with Azure Dev Ops, Miro and, Aha!

  • Familiarity with core development concepts, such as SDLC, CI/CD, branching/merging etc.

Working Conditions

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in normal office working conditions.

The hiring range for this position is:

$90,945.00-$122,308.50
