Job Summary
The Landscape Foreman is responsible for organizing the day-to-day labor including equipment and materials for assigned jobsite. The Landscape Foreman will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications.
Essential Functions
Supervise and participate in daily landscape installation and/or removal activity at jobsite
Monitor jobsite for compliance with all company safety policies
Perform frequent inspections of equipment and vehicles.
Identify enhancement opportunities and present them for estimating.
Communicate with Project Manager and/or Operations Manager as needed
Accurately prepare daily and weekly foreman logs
Qualifications and Skills
At least 3 years experience in landscape installations
Strong knowledge of landscaping principles, techniques, and materials, including plant selection, soil preparation, and irrigation systems. Ability to ID plant species and varieties a plus.
Valid Driver's License required; CDL preferred.
2A/1C MA Hoisting License a plus
Experience reading, interpreting, and implementing blueprints.
Excellent organizational and communication skills; computer proficiency
Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
Expected Work Environment:
Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.
Lifting and carrying objects up to 55+ pounds.
Working in all weather conditions.
Additional work available during the winter months.
