Job Summary

The Landscape Foreman is responsible for organizing the day-to-day labor including equipment and materials for assigned jobsite. The Landscape Foreman will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications.

Essential Functions

  • Supervise and participate in daily landscape installation and/or removal activity at jobsite

  • Monitor jobsite for compliance with all company safety policies 

  • ​​​​​​​Perform frequent inspections of equipment and vehicles.

  • Identify enhancement opportunities and present them for estimating.

  • Communicate with Project Manager and/or Operations Manager as needed 

  • Accurately prepare daily and weekly foreman logs 

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3 years experience in landscape installations

  • Strong knowledge of landscaping principles, techniques, and materials, including plant selection, soil preparation, and irrigation systems. Ability to ID plant species and varieties a plus.

  • Valid Driver's License required; CDL preferred.

  • 2A/1C MA Hoisting License a plus

  • Experience reading, interpreting, and implementing blueprints.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; computer proficiency

  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.

Expected Work Environment:

  • Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.

  • Lifting and carrying objects up to 55+ pounds.

  • Working in all weather conditions.
