We are looking for an Upstream Custom Consumable Engineering Manager to work with our Single Use customers and teams across the world. Do you have a passion for customer driven technical problem solving? Then we would love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

  • Lead a team of Custom Engineers working on key initiatives & projects, drive accountability to meet project goals, manage performance and career growth opportunities for the team.

  • Own Single Use Custom consumable Engineering work stream. Design space introduction and custom innovation (small scale customization, large scale system level customization).

  • Support Commercial activities and be the champion and key escalation point for Single use consumable junction testing and component additions.

  • Work with Product Managers to define, prioritize, and implement design space policies & strategies.

  • Work with Operations, Product Engineering, and Quality to ensure that our QMS policy is adhered to and design control process is properly executed.

  • Leverage Danaher Business Systems to work with team on continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

  • Work with global Product Engineering teams (and possibly global manufacturing sites) to ensure successful transfer of custom products.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Business, Finance or related field, Master’s Degree Preferred

  • At least 8 years of experience in engineering, sales, or operations roles

  • Prior experience with stakeholder management and creating executive level presentations

  • At least 2 years experience as a team lead or alternate leadership function.

  • Familiarity with digital systems: Magic, Sales Force, Windchill, Solidworks,etc

  • Working knowledge of design control and change control practices (ECR/ECO) and case management systems
