Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This role involves performing crucial accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for reviewing the general ledger and documenting processes and procedures. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of the general ledger to ensure accuracy

• Document all accounting processes and procedures for future reference

• Utilize various accounting software systems to maintain financial records

• Perform regular audits to identify and correct any discrepancies

• Handle accounts payable tasks to ensure all company bills are paid in a timely manner

• Use accrual accounting methods to manage financial transactions

• Balance sheet account management and reconciliation

• Leverage ADP - Financial Services for optimized financial management

• Ensure all accounting functions are carried out in compliance with financial regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting

• Skills in Auditing

• Experience in managing Balance Sheet Account
