Job Title: General Laborer - Site Maintenance

Job Description

We are seeking two diligent individuals to join our site maintenance crew for the summer. The successful candidates will be tasked with basic grounds keeping and vegetation maintenance on a solar site. This seasonal role provides an opportunity for dedicated workers to return in subsequent summers. A typical workday begins between 6:30 am and 6:45 am at the shop, from where the crew travels to the work sites and returns at the end of the day. All workers are provided with site-specific safety training and daily tasks. The role involves managing vegetation growth around solar panels and equipment, following regulatory standards and company policies. The candidate will inspect rights-of-way, identify vegetation concerns, and prioritize maintenance activities. They will perform manual and mechanical vegetation control to maintain clearances around critical infrastructure. They will also maintain tools and equipment, promote safety and environmental stewardship, and support emergency response efforts when required.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a team of four people, with the new hires reporting to the site foreman. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, and Saturdays 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Overtime is likely and candidates must be flexible with the end time. Work will be performed 100% outdoors, so candidates should be prepared with appropriate attire, including jeans and steel or composite toe boots. Short sleeves are prohibited.
