Our Information Technology (IT) department is looking for a highly experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Software Development Lead Analyst to play a highly technical role in providing leadership and expertise in development of standards, enforcement of design patterns, and best practices globally.

You will operate in a complex global enterprise software ecosystem with components like Salesforce, MuleSoft, Azure, Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, as well as Laboratory Information Systems comprised of a suite of technologies.

As a Software Development Lead Analyst, you will be:

  • Leading strategies of Solution Architecture and providing oversight of design and coding guidelines, which are critical in delivering desired business outcomes while taking into consideration the end-user, processes, technology, and data (transactional and analytical) aspects in the organization.

  • Designing, developing, configuring, and implementing solutions leveraging several enterprise platforms, including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Oracle, Azure, and AWS, supporting a variety of cloud applications, including Salesforce’s Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), Field Service, Experience Cloud, Account Engagement, and MuleSoft

  • Partnering closely, and working collaboratively with architects, analysts, partners, and developers to drive scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions supporting world class marketing, sales and service organizations and leverage Hologic’s Salesforce investment. As a team, you will create suggestions and recommendations aligning with the IT investment strategy.

Other duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide technical oversight and ensure adherence to coding standards through code reviews and solution delivery.

  • Act as the primary platform technical contact, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and facilitating cross-departmental communication.

  • Write and maintain high-quality, scalable code for critical system components.

  • Mentor junior developers and promote a collaborative work environment.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement solutions.

  • Oversee testing strategies to ensure software functionality and performance standards are met.

  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with security, SOX, GxP, etc.

  • Manage and update the technical infrastructure, including release updates, development tools, static code analysis and environments.

  • Develop working Proof of Concepts, investigate innovative solutions, and ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.

  • Assist in the documentation of application architecture and design through visual materials and relay plans to peers and leadership.

What do we expect?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Architecture, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience working with software development teams (on-site and offshore) supporting integrations and customizations in a complex, enterprise-level environment. Experience in performing within healthcare industry environment is preferred.

  • Ability to problem solve complex IT issues.

  • Experience in estimating development effort and developing project plans and knowledge of various implementation methodologies such as Agile/Waterfall.

  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems and system integrations with the ability to see big-picture designs from basic specifications.

  • Experience and understanding of Integration Patterns and API connections (specifically web API and the salesforce.com open API) and familiarity with AppExchange.

  • Ability to manage time and workload on multiple projects/initiatives.

  • Strong interpersonal skills. The ability to translate technical jargon into terms that business users can understand.

  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $107,600 to $168,300 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
