What you’ll do

  • Develop cell culture media formulations and feed supplements to meet service project goals for Biopharmaceutical customers.

  • Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of scientific results for cell culture media development service projects with the end goal of ensuring total customer satisfaction.

  • Contribute to the efforts of developing new service offerings and improving overall competitiveness of existing offerings.

  • Leverage current technologies and prior experience to derive design for high-performing, robust, manufacturable processes and products.

  • Propose solutions, identify, and implement best practices and contingency plans for assigned projects.

  • Develop insights that can be used to enhance customer satisfaction or other metrics.

  • Communicate proactively with peers and team members about customers pain points to drive awareness and build capabilities.

Who you are

  • MS/PhD degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.

  • 5 years of industry experience in in cell line development, cell culture process development and/or manufacturing within a pharmaceutical/biotechnology company

  • Highly experienced in DoE and statistical design/analysis

  • Strong scientific and analytical skills including the ability to effectively use data in problem solving and evaluating process changes/impacts.

  • Ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders (e.g. project management, customer facing teams).

  • Track record and diverse hands-on experience with industry relevant cells lines (e.g., CHO, HEK 293, Vero) and bioreactor systems required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal as well as the ability to facilitate team interactions.
