    What you’ll do

    The Merchandising Solution Delivery organization develops the Merchandise Planning software and systems that determine where millions of products will move around the globe to our stores each day. Our team thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and working diligently to address their needs which support TJX growth and operational stability. On this tightly knit and fast-paced solution delivery team you will be constantly challenged to stretch and think outside the box.

    We are seeking a motivated and detail orientated Scrum Master who will be the Release and Environments manager for a large and complex ART. They will be accountable for ensuring the successful delivery of our Merchandise Planning solutions into production as well as managing the overall environment roadmap across the ART.

    You will need to be comfortable with dealing with some of the more technical facets of our product development and release processes and be very well versed in creating and executing both complex and larger scale implementation plans. As the release lead, you will have a strong focus on building relationships, meticulous planning, and developing a longer-range view of both the product and environment release pipeline.

    Must Have's

  • Experience of managing the end-to-end change process for deployment into production within a Scaled Agile environment

  • Experience of working cross functionally with stakeholders across the ART, shared services as well as other technical teams to create and execute plans, ensuring impediments, risks and blockers to implementation are removed

  • Experience of co-ordinating and leading technical teams and resources, whilst being able to apply an engineering mindset and systems thinking approach

  • Ability to act as true Servant Leader rather than directing and managing activities using persuasion rather than authority in order to achieve goals.

  • Excellent interpersonal and group facilitation skills including the ability to work with diverse stakeholders ranging from business SMEs to technical SMEs

  • Ability to flex working hours to ensure releases have minimal business downtime

    Nice to Have's (potential to upskill)

  • Understanding/experience of managing team environment and data requirements for build, test and deployment purposes

  • Experience in streamlining and establishing best practices for release management and DevOps tooling to ensure the smoothest possible release to all environment levels

  • Solid experience as a project manager/program manager/Scrum Master with dedicated agile teams using scrum/SAFe

  • SAFe RTE or SPC 4, PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
