The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career

The Global Manager of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is a champion who continually leads, promotes, and evolves TJX’s Non-Merchandise SRM program. This program leader influences and coaches Global Sourcing & Procurement (GS&P) category managers to drive effective SRM approaches with business partners and suppliers. The role is accountable for the overall GS&P SRM program and is responsible for establishing tools, processes, and approaches to mitigate/monitor supplier risks, drive supplier performance, and increase supplier capabilities. This a hybrid position which requires 2 days per week on-site in any of our global offices located in Marlborough, MA USA, Watford UK, or Mississauga, ON Canada.

What You Will Do:

  • Globally responsible for the strategic vision, planning, design, and implementation of the TJX non-merchandise Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Program.

  • Articulate the strategic vision and value proposition to promote the SRM program at every touch point in interactions with category managers, business partners and suppliers.

  • Manage, share, and promote SRM vision, continuous improvement approach, framework, tools, and resources, including strategies, playbooks, third party solutions, templates, and benchmark samples.

  • Routinely review all processes, play book and tools to ensure continuous improvement and alignment to the SRM vision

  • Monitor SRM industry benchmarks and recommend how to apply in a sustainable way in the TJX environment.

  • Partner with GS&P category managers to segment TJX suppliers according to category strategies and ensure new suppliers are segmented on an on-going basis.

  • Collaborate with GS&P category managers and functional business partners to advise on SRM approaches and relationship strategy, and onboard strategic and critical suppliers into the program.

  • Recommend tools and approaches as requested for business partners to self-assess and monitor suppliers.

  • Build a SRM community of practice and training curriculum to teach and share best practices.

  • Measure monitor and report on program activities and results such as program adoption as well as supplier risk, performance, and capabilities expansion.

  • Facilitate feedback loops among GS&P, functional business partners and suppliers.

  • Collaborate with TJX Corporate Risk leaders to align GS&P SRM Program risk goals, objectives, scope, systems, tools and measures with non-merchandise supplier risk goals and objectives.

  • Manage the SRM Program’s global communication plans and materials, including presentations, reports, and marketing collateral.

  • Train new team members on the SRM Program, tools, and resources.

    Who We Are Looking For: You

  • Well-developed knowledge of SRM strategies and standards

  • Validated knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement methodology and ethics

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to drive successful change and adoption

  • Able to influence to build trusting relationships and achieve jointly agreed objectives

  • Consistently seeks new perspectives to move beyond obstacles

  • Applies change management skills and uses agile thinking to lead through complexity and ambiguity

  • Adapts style and thinking to meet various team and business partners’ needs

  • Understands how to analyze financial statements to assess risks

  • Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting information to leaders and using data to tell a story

  • Comfort identifying, implementing, and managing business metrics

  • 7+ years strategic sourcing, procurement or global program management experience

  • 3+ years global supplier relationship management experience
