Kforce Lead Salesforce Developer in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Kforce has a client in Marlborough, MA that is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer for a 100% Remote position.Key Tasks:

  • Design, develop and implement technical solutions and integrations supporting business processes while keeping the big picture and technical architecture in mind

  • Develop working Proof of Concepts with limited direction, while utilizing best practices and industry standards

  • Assist in the design and development of Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex and Visualforce components

  • Find the right balance between configuration, custom development, and the AppExchange; Candidate should be very familiar with the out of the box declarative capabilities of Salesforce and their limitations

  • Evaluate the major functional releases of Salesforce for suitability to the company business processes

  • Review and ensure that the business/technical requirements are understood, translated to a design specification that is consistent with Industry and company development standards, and perform code reviews and provide guidance on code development following Salesforce Best Practices

  • Investigate new technology, methods, systems and services for scalable, secure, and reliable data distribution and management

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and business analysts during project initiation and gathering user requirements with focus on technical needs

  • Follow documented software development guidelines and improve it when necessary

  • Thoughtfully provide and receive feedback during peer reviews of source code

  • Certified Platform App Builder/Advanced Developer must

  • 8 years of experience in software development

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting Salesforce with a strong functional domain knowledge of Salesforce Sales, CPQ, Service, FSL, Communities and external technologies

  • 3-5 years of Salesforce Lightning Components, Apex, and Visualforce

  • 3 years of experience working with software development teams (on-site and off-shore) supporting integrations and customizations in a complex, enterprise-level environment

  • Experience and understanding of API connections (specifically web API and the open API) and familiarity with AppExchange

  • Ability to Translate business needs into working solutions using a combination of Salesforce configuration and custom development approaches

  • Hands on experience with DevOps (CI/CD) and code migration processes across multiple Salesforce orgs

  • Salesforce CPQ experience is a plus

  • MuleSoft or other integration tools is a plus
