Hologic’s Compliance Team plays a critical role in identifying, preventing, monitoring and advising how to address compliance related risk/issues to protect the organization. The Compliance Team collaborates with cross-functional teams throughout the organization to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.

We are looking for a summer compliance intern to help support our compliance team. This position reporting to the Director of Compliance will gain exposure working with several members of the Legal team and other cross-functional teams throughout the organization. The intern will play a critical role in furthering the establishment of Hologic’s compliance program.

Throughout the 10-12 weeks you will:

• Gain familiarity with the Advamed Code of Ethics, Sunshine Act (and other laws, regulations and standards applicable to the medical device industry) and apply the guidance to business situations that arise.

• Assist in implementing compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Perform and support day-to-day compliance operational activities, including monitoring, auditing, and reporting to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are met throughout the organization.

• Refine and develop compliance training materials for various audiences throughout the organization.

• Create compliance reporting dashboards and/or analytics on key compliance metrics.

We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:

• Able to work full-time over the summer months (May/June – August/ Sept)

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (Rising Senior), Master’s degree program or first year of a Law school program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship

• Majoring in Business, Law, Data Analytics degrees preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong MS Office applications skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience in Medical Device/Medical Technology Industry a plus

• Ability to work onsite at our Marlborough, MA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided

The hourly pay range for this role is $25 - $35 per hour. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
