Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a CAD Designer with a sheet metal background to perform a 1 month contract for it's manufacturing customer in Marlborough, MA.

The responsibilities will include importing neutral geometries (STEP, IGES, etc.) from an external database service, designing custom parts to fit within those assemblies, and doing trade studies around mass, volume, and bill of materials. Prototyping may also be required using in-house or external 3D printers.

8+ years of design experience in Solidworks

Experience importing neutral geometries

Experience leveraging 3D printers Sheet Metal Background null
