City Wide Facility Solutions Business Development Specialist in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

Responsible for finding and evaluating new business prospects, engaging with said prospects, and scheduling JS appointments for the sales team.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Functions

  • Research and identify potential clients and new business opportunities

  • Generate janitorial leads through cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach

  • Qualify JS leads and set JS appointments for the sales team

  • Enter all notes and required information into CRM upon completion of each interaction with prospects.

  • Complete minimum information requirements for all appointments set. Prepare appointment work sheet with the following:

  • Participate in debriefing calls with Sales Executives to analyze JS appointments

  • Meet minimum daily, weekly and monthly activity and appointment goals

  • Attend regular sales meetings, one on one meetings with manager, company meetings and training sessions.

  • Timely completion of required reports,

  • Support sales business plan and sales strategy through participation in weekly prospecting planning meetings and other activities.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills- excellent phone skills

  • Ability to develop relationships and rapport with prospects

  • Ability to identify and qualify leads, communicate value propositions, and build strong client relationships.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (MS Dynamics) and other sales and business development software like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

  • Comfortable with cold calling and engaging prospects via phone, email, and social media

  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work duties and responsibilities

  • Ability to meet all deadlines

  • Ability to speak, write and read English fluently

  • Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

  • Willingness to give and receive constructive criticism

  • Ability to work well with a variety of personality types in a fast-paced environment and frequently perform variety of tasks involving different aptitudes, technologies, and procedure

  • Attention to detail – ensure accuracy and quality of work; demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness

  • Must present in a professional manner
