Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$24/hour and up – based on experience

What’s a typical day as a Set Up Technician? You’ll be:

• Setting up, maintaining and operating Thermoforming Machinery

• Ensuring uninterrupted and efficient running of production

• Working with attention to detail and maintaining all safety standards

• Inspecting parts and output with precise measuring tools to ensure quality

• Monitoring and testing operation of machines periodically

• Correcting issues that may occur during the shift

• Keeping records of activity and approved and defective units or final products

• Ensuring compliance with SQF/ISO requirements

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have proven experience as a machine setup technician

• Have working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

• Have an understanding of and willingness to follow and enforce production procedures

• Are able to adhere to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)

• Are able to read technical manuals

• Have analytical skills

• Have attention to detail

• Have good teamworking and communication skills

• Have physical stamina and strength
