Is you are a CAD Designer looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opportunity for you! Based in our Mansfield, MA. As a Designer you will produce detailed manufacturing drawings from concept sketches and from existing and legacy drawings.

AS A CAD DESIGNER YOU WILL:

• Apply dimensioning, tolerances, notes, and object orientation in a traditional manner that can be read and understood by machinists and foundries.

• Revise drawings required by Manufacturing, Quality Control and Engineering.

• Analyze existing designs and create new designs and improvements.

• Use CAD software to create new and revise existing drawings for use in the manufacturing of products.

• Develop drafting standards to be used by the design department.

• Assist in the development and training of design staff.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• High School Diploma

• Courses in computer aided drafting

• Experience with CAD Software – (i.e. Solidworks)

• Demonstrated ability to display a level of mechanical aptitude in conceptual design and discussion of design projects.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Associates Degree

• CSWA (Certified Solidworks Associate) or CSWP (Certified Solidworks Professional)

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
