Trellis People Operations Manager in Malden, Massachusetts

As a client services organization, everything we do is centered around people. The People Operations Manager ensures we're doing everything we can to support our people as best as we can. This includes recruitment, day-to-day human resources, performance management, and driving our broader organizational efforts in culture, DEI, and HR.

We’re looking for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, embrace process and organization, are detail-oriented, and enjoy using data to inform their decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

Below are some of the core responsibilities of our People Operations Managers:

  • Recruitment: Manages all internal recruitment efforts - this includes proactive outreach, initial screening interviews, assisting hiring managers during the interview process, etc.

  • HR Operations: Manages all day-to-day HR operations - this includes payroll and benefits support, PTO scheduling, incident reports, etc.

  • Performance Management: Facilitates all performance management activities - this includes running semi-annual performance evaluations, maintaining job descriptions, etc.

  • Organizational Development: Drives organizational development in broader cultural, DEI, and HR initiatives - this includes company event planning, stewarding DEI practice, and driving special projects

    Relevant Experience

    Below are some of the relevant experiences that would make someone a good fit for this role:

  • Experience in proactive recruitment efforts

  • Understanding of hiring processes and best practices

  • Experience with general HR administrative tasks such as payroll oversight, benefits administration, incident report filing, etc.

  • Experience in running performance evaluations and similar review activities

  • Comfort with performance-related conversations and handling people-related escalations

  • Ability to view position through the lens of diversity, equity, and inclusiveness
