Job Title: Insert Operator Lead

Location: Lynnfield, MA

Schedule: 2nd shift-3pm to 1130pm

Pay: $19.50-26.50hr (based on experience)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insert Operator Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team and performing various tasks related to document processing, including working with checks, transaction statements, and other materials. Additionally, you will oversee the operation of our BLUE CREST fleet of inserters, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and that quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of insert operators, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

  • Process documents, checks, and transaction statements according to client specifications and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Collaborate with scheduling, printing, and operations teams to coordinate workflow and meet production deadlines.

  • Operate BLUE CREST inserters, including EPICs, PULSEs, MSEs, and ad-mark equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and quality checks on inserters to identify and address any malfunctions or issues.

  • Document and communicate all equipment issues to supervisors or managers, following established protocols.

  • Understand the responsibilities of support staff and coordinate with them as needed to ensure smooth operations.

  • Monitor equipment continuously to ensure proper functioning and address any issues promptly.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instructions to maintain consistency and quality in operations.

  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Review all materials processed to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained.

  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during operations, ensuring that they are quickly identified and addressed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve goals.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions and standard operating procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience operating BLUE CREST inserters or similar equipment is preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.

The estimated salary range for this role is $19.50-26.50 per hour.
