GE Aerospace T408 Production Program Manager - Sr Product Management Manager 1 in Lynn, Massachusetts

Job Description Summary

As the T408 Product/Program manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the T408 engine production contract to include engine production and delivery, contract flow-down and execution, product management and configuration control. You will build strong customer relationships and manage complex issues by leading a matrixed GE organization to meet business and customer requirements.

You will be responsible for the T408 engine program during a highly visible and important time as the production rate increases and the U.S Marine Corp T408-powered CH-53K aircraft is entering into service. You will interface with NAVAIR and Sikorsky on production engine requirements, integration, performance and product quality.

Job Description

  • Establish and own the business financial goals aligned with the execution of T408 Production Contracts

  • Apply your demonstrated expertise to differentiate the reputation of GE and the T408 product working with Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Manufacturing Programs, Field Support, Product Support, Supply Chain, Military Customer Support, Sales and Services

  • Be passionate and competent in establishing and managing all aspects of the T408 production contracts to include performance, durability, maintainability, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction while achieving the highest safety and integrity standards for the T408 engine

  • Lead investigations / efforts into product shortfalls, field events, or durability issues and oversee the required field control plans and improvement plans in accordance with project / program guidelines

  • Plan, coordinate and present Program Reviews with internal and external customers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with a combination of engineering (or interfacing with engineering on technical programs) and program management roles

  • Ability and willingness to travel as required

  • Must be a US Person in accordance with export control regulations.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
