The Fulfillment Leader T408 will play a key role in coordinating and expediting the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepares and updates production schedules and purchasing needs

  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs

  • Optimize inventory and process improvements Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations

  • Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods

  • Communicate across direct organization Present to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy

  • Deliver products as part of a team

  • Connect the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions

  • Work on cross-functional projects / teams to deliver technology solutions for the business

  • Communicate across the function in area of expertise

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in materials production & planning, manufacturing or other supply chain roles)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials production & planning, manufacturing or other supply chain roles

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior experience in manufacturing operations

  • Knowledge and experience working in a machine shop environment

  • Understanding of LEAN principals

  • Possess leadership capabilities

  • Prior experience working in a Union environment

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams

  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
