Job Description Summary
In this role you will work with the C&SC Part Family shops to organize and model their Capacity Resource Plan. You will partner with the shop teams on-site (thru manageable business travel) to understand their portfolio and operations. You will collaborate with Supply Chain Capacity team members and DT team to load shops resources into Oracle Supply Planning Cloud. You will ensure the representation of capacity is correct in conjunction with the shop Support teams and coach the shop to visualize its capacity and interpret changes to demand or resources. You will guide problem solving around constraints and utilize the tools to develop scenarios to alleviate constraints. You will teach the team to make and inform business decisions within key business processes (S&OP, Aviation Strategy, Investment Review Board, and supporting conversations with customers) based on the data within the tool.

Roles and Responsibilities
Develop relationships within the assigned component shops to learn their product portfolios and operations
Define standards and conventions for departments, resources, labor groups and other required capacity data … etc.
Locate and collect data to model the shop departments, resources, routers / sequences and other parameters in Oracle Supply Planning Cloud
Partner with the Senior Capacity Strategist & the DT organization to complete the “loader templates” and load the data. Validate the initial loads in partnership with the shops. Develop data maintenance plans.
Develop and run a capacity cadence within the part family.
Teach the shop how to use data to make and inform business decisions that support key business rhythms (S&OP, Strategy, etc).
Repeat this process across multiple shops to create a single process across the full part family operations around Capacity Resource Planning.
You will partner with the shop leadership teams to develop scenarios to problem solve capacity constraints in the future in a proactive way.
You will use your own judgment and have the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Use technical experience and analytical thinking to create solutions. You will use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. You may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. You will explain information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 4 years of experience (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in capacity planning).
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, materials or planning experience
