The CBHC Admin Assistant provides administrative and clerical support within CBHC program. Our ideal candidate will have administrative skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail. Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and related software applications and office equipment is a must.
Responsibilities:
Provides administrative and clerical support for the program, including correspondence, data input, scanning, assembling EHR files, and other general duties
Provide assistance to Clinical staff in scheduling clients for appointments, including reminder calls and correspondence
Registers new patients and updates existing patients’ information, including the collection of all eligibility documents
Provides support to clients in completing required documentation for treatment
Maintains up to date knowledge of insurance regulations to ensure correct data entry of client insurance information and answer any questions clients may have about insurance coverage as it pertains to Eliot services
Assists in maintaining client medical records including but not limited to verifying and updating all demographic and insurance information at the time of service
Greets guests and visitors, and responds to general inquiries about CBHC
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and ability to initiate and follow through on tasks
Demonstrated understanding of regulations as pertains to HIPAA, client privacy, confidentiality and disclosure of medical information
Must have skills to establish supportive relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses and respect for their preferences for treatment
Rate: $20.18/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm OR 9am-5pm
