Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Windows Systems Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be highly skilled at working collaboratively with other IT teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient solutions. As part of the team, the Windows Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a wide range of core infrastructure services and systems, contributing to the operational success of our organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Windows Server environments.
Manage and troubleshoot Windows File Server setups, permissions, and related issues.
Oversee DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Exchange (both online and on-prem), Radius server, print servers, group policies, SOX compliance, and identity platforms like Okta.
Administer and maintain domain controllers, including migrations and troubleshooting.
Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory trusts between domains.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to implement and complete projects across security, infrastructure, and other domains.
Strong project management capabilities, including gathering business requirements and researching technical solutions.
Document and maintain internal processes to ensure support teams have the necessary tools and information.
Travel occasionally to different sites for operational needs and support.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Windows Server environments.
Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to resolving complex technical issues.
Proven experience in project tracking and maintaining documentation using helpdesk platforms.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Experience with identity management solutions (i.e., Azure SSO and MFA).
Hands-on experience with server room hardware including servers, switches, and storage devices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and performance.
Relevant certifications in related technologies are a plus.
Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python is preferred.
Due to the nature of the work candidates must be a United States Citizen.
