The MENTOR Network Teaching Assistant Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts

MENTOR South Bay, a member of the Sevita family, is a community-based, behavioral health care organization offering a continuum of services including adult behavioral health, substance abuse counseling, children’s behavioral health, autism services, and early childhood services.

Early Intervention Teaching Assistant: Responsible for assisting in the Early Intervention toddler groups! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 Consult with clinical EI staff in preparation and maintaining of client groups Assist with the maintenance of client records Document and maintain forms as required Co-lead groups with Early Intervention standards according to program needs and design (both child and parent focused.) Assist EI staff in the development of group curricula for assigned groups. Attend meetings as required Participate in trainings as required Coordinate transportation for assigned children and/or parents as required Pick-up, provide, discharge and monitor children and parents according to transportation standards as applicableReplenish and maintain early childhood inventory as necessaryOvertime may be required atQualifications: Full-time 2 years of relevant work experience in related field; valid satisfactory CORI check, MMR,

current physical, CPR and First Aid Certification and a negative TB test required. Drug test required if position requires

driving.
