We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Property Accountant in Lowell, Massachusetts. The role involves undertaking a range of accounting functions within the property management industry. Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage financial data effectively.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are carried out accurately and on time.

• Apply accrual accounting principles to maintain accurate financial records.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain financial transparency.

• Use Yardi property management software to manage property-related accounting tasks.

• Take on additional responsibilities over time, contributing to the growth and success of the business.

• Collaborate with other team members to optimize accounting functions.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing high-quality customer service.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Must be well-versed in various Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles is needed

• Auditing skills are a requirement for this role

• Knowledge of Yardi property management software is essential
