Markley Group Maintenance Technician in Lowell, Massachusetts
Patch and paint walls and surfaces, repair and adjust inoperable doors and hardware, replace damaged or missing ceiling tiles, cove base and carpet repairs, hang boards, pictures, signs and other wall fastened items, minor furniture repairs, general carpentry functions, maintain a professional/safe and clean environment, participate in projects as needed. Provide general assistance for both internal construction projects and large capital projects. Load, unload, and deliver construction materials to project jobsite Assist various skilled trades and other construction site workers as needed. Build and maintain custom temporary protection around construction projects including but not limited to plastic sheeting, rigid insulation, and plywood. Able to work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks. Able to climb and operate on ladders, MEWP\'s, able to lift at least 50 lbs. Position requires a valid driver\'s license and acceptable background check per company standards. Participate in snow removal operations when needed. May be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and snow/rainstorms if needed. Shifts sometimes vary depending on company events, tenant tours, and projects. Needs on all 3 shifts. 7:00am - 3:00pm 3:00pm - 11:00pm 11:00pm - 7:00am Overtime is available.
