Deposit Servicing Representative II – Lowell

What You’ll Do: The Deposit Servicing Representative II is expected to proficiently perform a variety of functions related to the ongoing processing and maintenance of deposit related products as well as assist with other duties within the Deposit Servicing functional area. In addition, this individual will have a proficient understanding of the rules and regulations that govern deposit accounts and will have a comprehensive understanding of the core departmental functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs standard account and/or transaction research on behalf of both internal and external customers.

  • Processes account maintenance and places ticklers for temporary or missing information when reviewing accounts changes for new account documentations from Dynamics.

  • Reviews, corrects, and updates non-posted Demand Deposit Account (DDA), Savings Account (SAV), Certificate of Deposit (COD) items, and SDB non-post was completed.

  • Daily processing of Fed return items through TCM.

  • Processes overdrafts and Exception Item Module (EIM) end of day balancing.

  • Processes address change requests received in Dynamics.

  • Performs review of address change post cards, scans into an email, sends to the account officer for review and creates a Dynamics case for processing.

  • Places Reg CC holds from Dynamic cases as outlined in our REG CC policy.

  • Processes Dynamic stop payment cases both check and ACH.

  • Processes Dynamic ACH unauthorized cases.

  • Performs file maintenance review on IES daily to review new, modified, and deleted stop payments.

  • Reviews suspect stop payment journal entries daily, creates a return list for processing through EIM module.

  • COD daily processing of new, term and rate changes. Daily COD reports reviewed. Processes COD Dynamic cases.

  • COD onus image review for proper transcode usage of interest and penalties.

  • Updates changes to assigned job task procedures as processes change or programs are updated.

  • Rewards now weekly processing of credit request report from Director.

  • CRS daily reconciliation.

  • FMS system reports daily proof of balancing Deposit Servicing.

  • Monthly reconciliation of the cash item GL.

  • Performs all duties assigned in the absence of the Deposit Servicing Representative I.

    OTHER:

  • Performs all duties consistent with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations as well as Bank policies.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Exceeds customer expectations by following the guidelines outlined in the Customer Experience Program.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES, if any: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This position is Hybrid or Onsite. Candidates from MA, NH, and ME only.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school; or

  • Two or more years related experience and/or training; or

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
