Golf Cource Grounds Maintenance Course Description Longmeadow Country Club is a private, member owned 18 hole Championship golf course located in Longmeadow Massachusetts. It was established in 1922 and designed by renowned golf course architect Donald Ross. Longmeadow Country Club perennially ranks among Golf Digests top 20 courses in Massachusetts list. We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated individual to join our grounds crew for the upcoming 2025 season. Responsibilities The overall goal of the Grounds Maintenance position is to work closely with the superintendent of grounds to provide an overall outstanding golf experience for our members. With this goal in mind some of the tasks that will be required are as follows Daily mowing of greens, approaches, tees, fairways and rough Bunker maintenance including raking, edging and trimming Line trimming and brush cutting around features of the golf course Trimming around irrigation heads and range markers Utilizing blowers to clean playing surfaces Installation and maintenance of all annual and perennial ornamental gardens Exhibit the ability to receive instructions and perform designated tasks while operating in a safe and efficient manner.
