Robert Half in Burlington is working with a client north of Boston seeking a Staff Accountant to join its team. This is a permanent role reporting into an Assistant Controller, joining a very strong/established accounting department. The role is full-time and the work schedule is Hybrid.

Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant with at least 1-3 years of month end close experience. The desired candidate should have experience with high volume bank reconciliations and above average Excel skills. A degree in finance or accounting is required.

For the right experience our client is offering a base salary around $75,000. Strong benefits too.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with General Ledger

• Ability to accurately prepare and maintain Journal Entries

• Must be able to efficiently handle Month End Close tasks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
