V Division Administrative Assistant

Lincoln Laboratory develops and assesses integrated systems for defense against ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and air and maritime platforms in tactical, regional, and homeland defense applications. Activities in this mission area include the investigation of system architectures, development of advanced sensor and decision support technologies, development of pathfinder prototype systems, extensive field measurements and data analysis, and the verification and assessment of deployed system capabilities. A strong emphasis is on developing innovative solutions, maturing technologies, rapidly prototyping systems, and transitioning new capabilities for operational systems to the government and government contractors.

The Air, Missile, and Maritime Defense Technology Division focuses on helping to defend our nation, deployed forces, and allies. Our activities include developing and assisting integrated systems for defense against missiles and other threats. This is accomplished through six broad technical groups: Advanced Concepts and Technologies; Advanced Sensor Systems and Test beds; Advanced Undersea Systems and Technology; Integrated Missile Defense Technology; Interceptor and Sensor Technology; and Systems and Architecture.

We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join the Division Office. The candidate should be team oriented and possess strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a professional and engaging contributor to the Division Office team and be able to work both cooperatively and independently, set priorities, demonstrate strong organizational skills and manage multiple concurrent tasks accurately and reliably. The ability to work successfully with others is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted Division Office.

Requirements:

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have a record of successfully working in a team environment along with effective methods of collaboration and interaction with all levels of personnel and sponsors

  • Successful experience with proactive and independent approach to problem solving and decision-making

  • Extensive experience managing multiple calendars and prioritizing time-critical matters

  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a dynamic work environment with proven ability to multi-task, prioritize complex tasks, and exhibit great flexibility

  • Proven ability to handle private information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response

  • Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly and with excellent attention to detail

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, post high school education is preferred

  • At least 3 years of directly related experience is required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, familiarity with SAP is preferred
