BAE Systems Technical Operations Engineer in Lexington, Massachusetts
Sustain 24 by 7 production operations through responding to and resolving breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime
Provides day-to-day technical support and training to technicians for the assembly processes in the plant.
Maximizes efficiency by analyzing assembly line layouts, workflows, assembly methods, Assembly test change- over-fixturing, gauges, work-in-process (WIP).
Support packaging die attach, wire bonding and hermetic package sealing ( Welded/Soldered lids)
Develops Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) requirements, including Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Process Flow Charts, and Process Design Sheets.
Supports Program Management generated project macro-schedules with detailed engineering micro-schedules to ensure that all project milestones are tracked and completed on time.
Identifies Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VE/VA) ideas and standard parts to be implemented into new product designs.
Statistical Techniques implementation to control process outputs
Communicates all necessary process equipment load requirements to Production Planning.
Identifies and provides tooling and equipment requirements, and the need to implement new processes to support launch requirements to the Core Team and all supporting engineering groups.
Addresses internal and external customer complaints, conducts investigations, develops root cause
Verify that our products meet MIL-STD-883 and IPC-A-610 test and inspection methods
Leads and/or participates in continuous improvement activities targeted to increase productivity and reduce machine downtime and scrap. Help BAE implement PFMEAs and Control plans to meet AS9145 requirements
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
A college degree and 4-6 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Secret Clearance may be required in the future
