Fresenius Medical Care North America Lead Cybersecurity Data Analyst in Lexington, Massachusetts

POSITION FEATURES:

This is a remote position

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

This position provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation architecture of complex system projects. The position provides management with data analyses and information obtained from a number of disparate sources to assist with key financial and operational decisions to build and design data-driven solutions to provide high quality outcomes.

CYBERSECURITY DATA ANALYST FOCUS:

  • Responsible for developing, administering, and enhancing cybersecurity metrics and analytics platform to provide strategic, operational, and tactical reporting for internal and external stakeholders

  • Develops strategy and continuous improvement for the Information Security Office Metrics & Analytics program in accordance with industry frameworks

  • Prioritizes the backlog of innovative solutions to assist in identifying and managing information security risks across the organization

  • Works closely with other security stakeholders to better understand opportunities and coordinate efforts

  • Ensures operational excellence of platforms and supporting technology

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with the data engineers, service owners, system owners, and cross-functional leadership in various time zones to continuously improve insights and inform strategic direction

  • Working experience in programming, CI/CD and Agile / DevOps environment

  • Working experience using PowerBI

  • Excellent organization, planning skills and talent for managing many large and sophisticated solutions

  • Technical curiosity with strong logical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

  • Experienced in best-practice developer methodologies including documentation, version control, and code review

  • Must be team-oriented, placing priority on the successful completion of team goals

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designs and deploys business intelligence tools and capabilities that promote self-service for the advanced analytic needs

  • of the company.

  • Maintains current knowledge of subject matter related to enterprise reporting systems, database technology, participation in industry conferences and reviewing industry literature.

  • Develops and maintains internal partnerships to identify, document, analyze, and communicate requirements for projects

  • involving the business intelligence platform.

  • Designs, codes, and tests major data reporting features, as well as work jointly with other team members to provide

  • complex reporting enhancements.

  • Analyzes, evaluates and revises existing system logic difficulties to ensure enterprise reporting meet business expectations and IT standards, provides input, recommendation and oversight.

  • Utilizes system information and knowledge of all parameters affecting and interfacing with the system, to confirm or eliminate alternative solutions to IT or business problems, issues and/or decisions.

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. (This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.)

  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 5 – 8 years’ related experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.

  • Working experience in programming, CI/CD and Agile / DevOps environments

  • Experienced in best-practice developer methodologies including documentation, version control, and code review

  • Practical Knowledge of Information Security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001/27002, NIST, etc)

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC) or other relevant certifications desired

  • Prior information security and information technology experience

  • Experience developing executive-level dashboards, operational dashboards, risk management dashboards, all of which are derived from detailed, lower-level data points

  • Demonstrates innovation and creativity in translating data into compelling narratives

  • Strong client services orientation and communication skills coupled with a high sense of urgency to keep appropriate partners informed, including solutions to overcome obstacles to deliver to expectations

  • Adheres to IT processes, management objectives, and impact of changes to risk profiles

  • Strong understanding of analytics, risk management, and business strategy

  • Demonstrated technical writing, communication, and presentation skills

  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities showing you are results-driven, detail oriented and accountability-minded
