• We are hiring immediately for an SR CATERING COORDINATOR position.

• Location: Instrumentation Laboratory, 180 Hartwell Road, Bedford, MA 01730. Adjacent to Lexington, MA. Note: online applications accepted only.

• Schedule: Full-Time; Monday through Friday, 7am - 3pm. No weekends! No holidays! All Holidays, major and minor off!

• Details: The Sr Catering Coordinator will be thriving daily catering with minimal special events. Assist guests with their event planning and consulting on the specifics of their catering needs including offering suggestions and coordinating details with the culinary and operations teams.

• Requirement: Computer savvy. Great interpersonal communication and multitasking skills. Servsafe Certified a plus. Associate's degree or 1 to 3 years of food service experience required.

Job Summary

In this role, you will support the event team with customer inquiries regarding all aspects of catering planning services. You will also provide internal communication support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans and executes the operational elements of all specialty events

• Thoroughly and professionally communicates with customers and internal departments

• Remains on site for all special events to ensure they meet all client expectations

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in hospitality industry

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as the business demands

• Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills

• Ability to operate Web based ordering system, process customer requests, changes to orders, menu updates and client profiles

• Ability to write professional and efficient emails to clients and customers
