Robert Half Risk Analyst in Leominster, Massachusetts

Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Risk Analyst to be based in Leominster, Massachusetts. The industry we operate in is banking, and the role will involve a comprehensive analysis of banking risks, particularly in the areas of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance. This role offers a contract employment opportunity and may involve remote work after initial training.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct alert reviews and determinations as part of risk identification and mitigation

• Perform thorough fraud analysis to detect and prevent fraudulent activities

• Assist in the transition of BSA/AML systems, ensuring smooth changeover and minimal operational disruption

• Utilize skills in AML and BSA compliance to uphold regulatory standards and protect against financial crimes

• Maintain a deep understanding of credit and compliance within the banking industry

• Monitor banking transactions and activities for any signs of risk or potential compliance breach

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the overall integrity and security of banking operations

• Proactively update knowledge on regulatory changes and industry best practices to enhance job performance

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address queries and concerns related to risk and compliance.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role such as Risk Analyst or related field.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of AML (Anti Money Laundering) principles.

• Proficient in Compliance procedures and regulations.

• Strong understanding of credit risk analysis.

• Familiarity with BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) standards and requirements.

• Proficient in using relevant risk analysis tools and software.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field is preferred.
