Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Aerotek is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Mechanic! The maintenance mechanic will work on second shift from 3-11pm. The primary responsibility will be performing preventive maintenance (PM) work, but there may also be involvement in brake-fix tasks, although not on every shift. The machines are relatively complex, so a PM job will typically last an entire shift. If involved in brake-fix work, it usually involves resolving material jams, which requires diagnostics, planning a repair strategy, and implementing a solution. This role involves a significant amount of mechanical work and a fair amount of electrical work as well. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years prior industrial maintenance experience

  • Good foundation of electrical experience (series vs parallel circuits, estop systems, limit switches, etc)

  • Strong mechanical experience
