Community Healthlink Call Center Assistant Manager Triage in Leominster, Massachusetts

Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Call Center Assistant Manager at our Leominster site.

The Communications and Triage Department serves the local communities of the Leominster and Worcester area, providing mental health crisis intervention. Communications works directly with those in need from their first call to Community Healthlink’s Emergency Services Program through the entire process and in some cases the days following.

The Call Center Assistant Manager manages the Communicates Department, the central hub of the Emergency Services Program at Community Healthlink. The Triage coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective flow of this department through providing training, supervision, and oversight of all triage/communications functions and participating as a member of the larger Emergency Services leadership team

  1. Quality Management: Provide oversight of the triage center.

  2. Budget Oversight: Ensure operational budget for the program is reconciled.

  3. Supervision and Training: Orient and train new staff to daily operations of the program and Division procedures. Ensure new staff are oriented and trained as required by CHL. Provide ongoing supervision to program staff.

  4. Referrals: Facilitate the transition for referrals, admissions and discharges.

  5. Program Management: Plan, implement and continuously evaluate rehabilitative and support services

  6. Personnel: Take personnel action in regard to hiring and disciplinary procedures. Maintain 24-hour staff schedule and ensure adequate staffing is in place at all times.

  7. On-Call: Participate in on-call system for after hours emergencies.

  8. Liaison: Serve as liaison among other departments and with other agencies in order to facilitate a continuum of care.

  9. Facilities: Identify problem areas and coordinate work for upkeep of site. Ensure day-to-day upkeep of residence and workplace.

  10. Other Duties: Perform other job related professional duties required in order to provide quality clinical programming.

  11. Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

  • Master's degree in social work or related human services field; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 2 years experience.

  • Entry level supervisory position--willing to consider candidates who don't yet have a full year of supervisory experience

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational abilities

  • Experience with third party billing a plus

  • Current valid US-issued drivers license and ability to provide a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites

  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
