Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing approximately 100 invoices per week, setting up wires and ACH payments through our banking system, and assisting with month-end close activities related to accounts payable. You will handle the weekly check run, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure that weekly checks, electronic funds transfers (EFTs), and bank transfers are properly funded. Additionally, you will monitor the accounts payable email inbox, communicating with various departments and responding to vendor inquiries. You will also assist in preparing and distributing weekly cash reports. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience or exposure to accounts payable, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. While experience with NetSuite is not required, strong technical skills are essential.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Demonstrated experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficient in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Previous experience in an educational or university setting is a plus
