State of Massachusetts Quality Assurance Supervisor - Northern Region in Lawrence, Massachusetts

The Department of Children and Families is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor who is committed to upholding the department’s fundamental mission of protecting children from abuse and neglect to ensure they are able to grow and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. The Quality Assurance Supervisorwill work with the Regional Team in providing clinical and administrative support to Area Offices within the Northern Region.Working under the direction of the Regional Clinical Manager, they will provide guidance to Area Office staff to ensure the provision of quality case practice and compliance with Agency policies and procedures. Travel and/or work will also encompass all the areas within the Northern Region. _Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive)_: * Provide clinical and technical consultation to Area Office staff on Background Record Check (BRC)/CORI issues. * Review and coordinate all BRC/CORI and overcapacity waiver requests from Area Offices. * Coordinate Regional Clinical Review Team meetings on complex cases referred by Area Offices for resolution, including completion of written reports. * Provide Family Resource Policy training and consultation to Area Office staff including regular meetings to support consistency in practice. * Coordinate and oversee Interim Policy cases. * Perform other clinical duties as assigned. * Provide consultation to area offices. * Provide Regional oversight and technical assistance to Family Resource and ADLU Supervisors and APM’s to ensure compliance with Agency protocols in the licensing/re-licensing of foster, adoptive, and unapproved homes. * Assist the Regional Clinical Director in conducting CQI reviews on complex/high profile cases including completion of written reports. * Assist the Regional Clinical Director in the development and implementation of CQI initiatives in both Regional and Area Office level. * Coordinate region wide Hotline activities and meetings to ensure policy and protocol compliance. * Act as Regional liaison to Judge Baker Children’s Center. * Facilitate regular meetings of: Family Resource Supervisors, Foster Parent Liaisons, PACT Coordinators, and Hotline Supervisors. * Facilitate Regional ICPM meetings. * Participate in statewide ICPM meetings. * Attend statewide meetings concerning hotline, intake, family resources or related issues. * Serve as regional ICWA representative. * Perform other administrative duties as assigned. _Preferred Qualifications:_ * Knowledge of Continuous Quality improvement process. * Experience with Protective and Hotline Systems * Solid understanding of Family Resources and Adoption * Supervisory experience and sound clinical skills. * Solid written and verbal skills. * Solid organizational and time management skills. _To Apply:_ Please upload both Resume and Cover Letter for this position when applying. Applicants must have (A) a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, counseling education or criminal justice or a relevant human services degree and (B) a current and valid Licensures as a Licensed Social Work Associate, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Certified Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration, and (C) and three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in social work, or (D) or any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below. *Applicants at the Department of Children and Families must obtain the required license in Social Work within the first nine (9) months of employment. The classification may require possession of a current and valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License at a class level specific to assignment. Substitutions: I.
