Job Summary

Working as the Executive Chef I, you will coordinate kitchen operations, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and dynamic environment for our team. You will lead all aspects of meal preparation in alignment with corporate standards. This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-reaching culinary professional to showcase their skills!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan regular and modified menus according to established guidelines

• Follow standardized recipes and presentation standards, applying daily production worksheets and waste logs

• Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, and sanitation

• Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for kitchen areas

• Lead food and supply inventories within budget, ensuring vital products are available

• Make decisions regarding leftover food usage within company guidelines

• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations through audits

• Implement safety policies and procedures, including occurrence reporting

• Participate in departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• A.S. or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of dynamic culinary/kitchen management experience

• Extensive catering experience a plus

• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable

• Institutional and batch cooking experience

• Hands-on chef experience is a must

• Comprehensive knowledge of food trends, quality, production, sanitation, and cost control

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet

• Willingness to engage in client happiness programs

• ServSafe certified - highly desirable

• Spanish speaking highly desirable
